Heartbeat of a Christian

I think it is important to start of with a statement about the title Christian. Christian as I am using it means: following the teachings or manifesting the qualities or spirit of Jesus Christ. There may be people who have or appear to have qualities of being Christ Like yet are not saved.

Being saved means: Believing Jesus Christ was Fully human, fully God. Jesus was crucified, suffering the depths of human pain and giving his life for the sins of the world. God raised Jesus from the dead, vindicating his sinless life, breaking the power of sin and evil, delivering us from death to life eternal. Man’s only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ the Son of God. Salvation is received through repentance toward God and faith toward the Lord Jesus Christ.

I will be using the Amplified Bible throughout unless otherwise noted. In many cases because of Copyright notices, I will be using links to the actual scripture quoted on BibleGateway.com.
