Jesus asked: John 11

You ever feel like you are in a gap? We often use the saying, “Between a rock and hard place.” But the truth is, we are in a gap, does it matter what is on either side of us? Would it really make a difference? One definition of a gap is: a difference or disparity in attitudes, perceptions, character, or development, or a lack of confidence or understanding, perceived ascreating a problem. The disciples, Martha, and Mary experienced gaps and Jesus had questions to ask about those gap times. In John 11, the scene opens with news of someone who is dear to … Continue reading Jesus asked: John 11

Jesus Asked: John 9

Been an interesting journey the last few weeks as I spent some time asking God to reveal any ungodly beliefs I have. An ungodly belief is a belief that does not line up with God’s Word or His nature. We all have them, sometime we don’t know we do. Over time we have conditioned ourselves or our surrounding have conditioned us, to believe certain things, it happens to us everyday. I’ve become a little interested in the Constitution of the United States. It’s intriguing to me to see what people were striving for so many years ago. … Continue reading Healing Our Land … It’s Constitutional

The Word …

It’s simply amazing what just one word can do. Just one simple word. Do you know what I mean? Take the word ‘stop’ or the word ‘go.’ These two words can control a massive amount of people. They are so powerful that we don’t even need to use them, we’ve trained our minds that if we see red – we stop and green – we go. We’ve trained our bodies, and even animals, that at a sound we go or we stop. If someone yells “STOP!” everyone stops, even if it isn’t being said to that person. Powerful. Or how … Continue reading The Word …

Ifs from John

Here’s another well rehearsed verse: I’m sure if you’ve spent any time around Christians, you’ve heard this verse. And it’s a red letter verse, which means something that Jesus said. I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.(Joh 15:5) But there is a little “if” at the beginning of the next verse, let’s take a look at it. If anyone does not abide in me he is thrown away like a branch and withers; and the branches … Continue reading Ifs from John
